Thank you to everyone who attended the Studland Bay MCZ Voluntary No Anchor Zone drop-in desk hosted by the Marine Management Organisation’s (MMO) conservation team at the Marina. We hope this was a useful exercise for those of you with queries regarding the zone.
The MMO noted that they received lots of feedback about the need for further eco-moorings in Studland Bay and were pleased to share updates on the work of the Studland Bay Marine Partnership.
The Partnership have been exploring how eco-moorings could be managed, funded, maintained and where they can best be located.
The Partnership have recently opened a survey to capture feedback from the boating community on their draft eco-moorings plan. Please feel free to use the link below to share your views:
For those of you who couldn’t attend, any queries relating to the Marine Protected Area (MPA) management, such as the Studland Bay Marine Conservation Zone, please email email@example.com.
