Parkstone Bay Marina is proud to announce the completion of a £150,000 investment in newly upgraded washroom facilities for berth holders. Combining premium comfort, modern design, and eco-conscious technology, this latest development reinforces the marina’s ongoing commitment to delivering a first-class experience while reducing environmental impact and supporting the local community.

The new facilities feature spacious private cubicles, stylish contemporary finishes, and enhanced accessibility – all thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of today’s discerning boat owners. A key innovation is the introduction of climate-controlled air source heating with heat recovery, delivering efficient, low-carbon comfort year-round. Berth holders can also enjoy a range of added benefits, including complimentary toiletries, dedicated family shower room, and ambient music to enhance their experience.
In line with the marina’s sustainability goals, the washrooms are also partially powered by newly installed solar panels, contributing to a significant reduction in energy usage and carbon emissions.
Feedback has been positive with one berth holder commenting, “What a fantastic job you have made of the new facilities block. These new facilities have been well thought out, are extremely attractive and well-appointed and are simply a joy to use. Congratulations to all involved in this project, a lot of hard work has obviously gone into it. Clearly a significant investment has been made by the marina owner and in my view, it has been money well spent, lifting the facilities to a high level comparable with the top end Solent Marinas.”

The project was expertly designed and supplied by Commercial Washrooms , and constructed by Parkstone Bay’s own in-house team, with support from a small group of trusted local tradespeople. This hands-on, community-focused approach ensured the project was delivered to the highest standards whilst also contributing to the local economy.
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created - not just in terms of the finished product, but the way we’ve delivered it,” said Henry Cobley AMM, General Manager at Parkstone Bay. “Our in-house team, supported by talented local professionals, has brought this vision to life. The result is a facility that reflects both the quality and values of Parkstone Bay Marina.”
Alex Carnegie, Sales Director at commercial washrooms added “It’s been a pleasure working alongside Henry and the wider team on this project to deliver a premium washroom for berth holders and visitors alike. The specification was tailored to ensure we aligned with the vision of Parkstone Bay, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and water saving and providing a premium experience for the user.”
The washroom upgrade is the latest in a series of enhancements at Parkstone Bay, with further plans in place to continue raising the bar in service, sustainability, and facilities across the marina.
