Job Description
Parkstone Bay is a family run Marina with a small and dedicated team. We are looking for a number of seasonal staff to support our team.
1. General maintenance and presentation of vessels and fleet, pontoon and event areas
2. Fuelling vessels
3. Assisting and advising members with daily boat movements and helming the Water Taxi
4. Service boats, including cleaning windows, upholstery, canvas, bilges, fibreglass, and wood
5. Assisting with launching and recovery of boats using our Slipway.
6. General site maintenance and cleaning.
7. Promote a positive work attitude – exceed customer expectations
8. Interaction at a high level with our members and berth holders delivering exceptional customer service
The skills required for the role are as follows:
1. Practical skills – ability to learn and pick up new skills easily
2. Able to work as part of a team or individually
3. Good customer service skill
4. Good understanding of boats and safety knowledge
5. Positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
6. RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualification and good boat handling required
Due to the nature of the business, weekend work is essential during peak season.
