Plant Operative
Parkstone Bay is a family business with a small and dedicated team. We are looking for an enthusiastic Plant Operative to join our team.
The role requires a high skill and experience level in the use of machinery.
For Example: Forklift, Telehandler, Excavator or Hoist
Job Description
The role is diverse and team members are required to participate in activities relating to all areas of the business. This provides an opportunity to enjoy a full and interesting working environment, suited to a candidate with a common sensical approach and ‘can-do’ attitude.
Responsibilities:

To be able to operate heavy machinery confidently, with precision and at a safe standard.

Carrying out efficient and timely delivery of vessel lifting and movement operations, both planned and unplanned to ensure customer satisfaction.

A hands-on approach to problem resolution as part of the operations team.

Understanding of Risk Assessments and Safe Operating Procedures.

Undertaking Daily, Weekly & Monthly plant inspections and log any defects to management for repairs.

Assisting with site projects and tasks during the quieter times.
