Office & HR Administrator

£18,000 – £21,000, dependant on experience, part-time can be considered

We are a family run marina, with a group of small but growing associated businesses. Mainly focussed around the marine industry, we have a diverse and dynamic working environment. Our team is small, hard working and supportive. The group includes a marina, brokerage, cafe / restaurant, boat club and cleaning with a total payroll of up to 80.

The Role

We are looking for an administrator with experience, to take on the responsibility of our HR. The following will be included:

Updating databases and ensuring compliance of paperwork.
Amending and creating contracts
Supporting recruitment
Diarising and supporting managers with appraisals
Initial point of contact for employee wellbeing requirements

In addition to the above, you will be involved in assisting the general administration of our marina group and expected to respond to customer enquiries. This provides great variety and interest to the role.

Requirements for the role:

As this is a new position, you will need to have the ability to take ownership of the role and be able to use your initiative. We are able to support but experience within HR and associated company rules is essential.

Excellent communication skills and a friendly approach is a must. You need to have excellent attention to detail, be organised and have good computer skills.
